A multi-state Amazon Logistics delivery business.

TeamPex manages multiple delivery stations, 800+ vehicles, and approximately 1,500+ employees across multiple states. The business model centers on delivering packages for Amazon.com as a third-party logistics (3PL) Amazon Logistics business.

As a small logistics business, TeamPex wanted a local, forward-thinking software partner to streamline day-to-day processes, maximize delivery performance, and reduce infrastructure costs.

The requirement

From an Excel spreadsheet to automated operations.

TeamPex tracked deliveries and manually calculated costs in a standard Excel spreadsheet. They tasked OST with a custom logistics web application to automate internal processes — from driver management to profit/loss statements for each station.

Our data analysts interviewed the team and studied their step-by-step work processes, then prepared a workflow plan addressing each business and operations concern individually.

A centralized dashboard for every station.

We centralized all new functions on an easy-to-use dashboard with quick access to performance metrics for all or each station, and set up processes dynamically so TeamPex can add stations as the business grows.

Each station includes driver management and wage calculation, third-party integrations (FICO & ADP), vehicle management and maintenance logs, admin role management, advanced reporting, and daily/weekly profit-loss calculation.
